Recently, Tan Pichuang led a team to Huizhou Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone, and conducted an inspection about industrial development. Tan Pichuang said that through this inspection, they learned about not only the great achievements in industrial development and urban construction, but also the advanced theories and experience in petrochemical park orientation, industrial cluster and leading enterprise cluster. Currently, there were some same problems for both cities in insufficient space and limited environment capacity. He hoped that both sides could deepen exchange and communication to find out better ways to solve the problems. Meanwhile, he also hoped to create some chances of cooperation, and achieve coordinated development in petrochemical industry chain. He expected that friends from Huizhou could bring more advanced development theories to Qinzhou and help its development.

Four contracts worth over 100 million yuan were signed with enterprises, including Dongguan Guohao Furniture Co., Ltd. and Xinfeng (Hong Kong) International Industrial Co., Ltd.
From this year, the CPC Qinzhou Municipal Committee and Qinzhou Municipal People’s Government attached great importance to the development and construction of the park and put it on the list of “Ten Breakthrough Tasks”. For this, it strongly attracted the investment with cultivated lands, purchased and stored over 1,300 mu of land in advance, and raised over 62 million yuan for the land acquisition and infrastructure construction like roads and pollution discharge. Leaders took the lead in inviting investment for the processing industry of imported timber. From January to September, there have been four forestry investment promotions on the negotiation of sixteen projects, with a total project investment of 34.64 billion yuan. The four signed projects were introduced during the promotion meetings in Dongguan and Huizhou in the end of July. For the next move, Qinnan District will further perfect the infrastructure construction, strengthen the guarantee of lands, speed up the introduction of projects, keep the track record and make sure faster and better development of the park.

It is said that the small talented highland for the R&D and industrialization of new drugs for major liver diseases and anti-cancer in Guangxi will take the responsibility of solving the problems such as lack of major new drug product output and inadequate innovative ability of new drugs for decades in Guangxi, promote the economic growth of pharmaceutical industry and private enterprises in Guangxi, form a national R&D platform, and continuously improve the efficiency of R&D achievements transformation. In the aspect of market, this small talented highland will strive to cultivate more than two major drugs of major liver diseases and anti-cancer drugs with annual sales of more than 3-5 billion yuan and three large varieties of Traditional Chinese Medicine with sales of more than 1 billion yuan, and achieve sales of 20 billion yuan in five years, so as to increase tax revenue for local governments and provide jobs for the local people.
